Plan of action

To sum things up, there are a few steps we have to take in the future to simply progress in the right direction. The temperatures will rise no matter what we do, and we have to prepare for it. There is one specific measure we can take to prevent the rising of temperatures and that is to plant forest on a massive scale.

Forests will help us increase our oxygenelevels, eat the carbon dioxide that makes our temperature on earth rise and create a safe habitat for our plants and animals. This is the most important action we can take to prevent future problems.

Another measure we can and must resort to is to create fertile lands, this means making the soils of our earth fertile again. This is possible by for example using bladder wrack, which can turn an unusable soil into a fertile space of land again. Recently a norweigan scientist made a huge discovery concerning how to turn sand into fertile soil, watch his findins on TED talks below on this page.

Finally we must learn how to use our saltwater, which will be abundant for us in the future to come. We must learn how to turn saltwater into fresh water, it can be done through desalination and this is already being practiced in parts of the world, to separate the salt and the water to create fresh drinking water. But we must also beware of the future of possible acidic water due to rising temperatures, how do we change this water back to it's original state?

We have to learn how to grow food produce in saltwater, this is already being done with rice in China and there are successful tries of this cultivation in the USA on making tomatoes grow in saltwater. This could change the future for starving people in hot countries where crops are difficult to grow.

Of course we have to lower our emissions to reduce the carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere to make sure heat from our sun isn't capsulated in our atmosphere. This is also a question of saving our planet from pollution which are causing devastating health effects.

We will have to protect the wild nature we already have, by protecting our nature reserves and possibly creating new ones. This will keep our animals safe and us humans able to see and visit nature any time we want to. Also it could help protect forests and precious ecosystems that are under threat in our urban environments.

The energy revolution will help us propell our development forward. Using only environmentally friendly techniques such as solar energy, wind energy or preferrably salt water energy to energize our world in the future.

Lastly, we have to clean up earth, there are major amounts of plastic waste in our current environment, in our oceans and on land that have to be cleaned up since it doesn't really decompose. Instead fish and animals in nature end up eating it's content and we eat this contaminated meat.

1. Plant trees on a massive scale on earth to lower the temperature and increase oxygen levels.

2. Make soils fertile again by using bladder wreck and other creative ideas.

3. Use saltwater to produce drinking water and water for food crops both on land and in water.

4. Use solar energy and other renewable energy sources instead of fossile fuels.

5. Clean up plastic and other waste on land and in our oceans.

6. Protect the wild nature we already have by protecting nature reserves and animal habitats.

Turning sand into fertile soil

Ole Morten Olesen describes how he and his father realized how to turn sand into fertile soil in one simple trick!

What can we do now in 2023?

This year in 2023 we have to start taking action to make sure we have legislation that stops companies from emitting CO2 emissions. The only way to stop them is not to encourage them to stop but to actually fine them when they don't act accordingly. So, we should put legislation in place to fine all companies who refuse to listen to climate limitations.

The next step in helping the climate change situation in 2023 is to now begin organizing rescue teams that can, on a moments notice, show up at a environmental disaster site. This could include having firemen, policemen, military or health care workers on stand-by fully educated on the possible scenarios that could occure.

Every country should be thinking about how to preserve food for the coming decades for their inhabitants since droughts and floods could and as we are now seeing will vipe out crops.
